This Privacy Policy explains what data AnimoX ("we") collects when you use the AnimoX desktop application and the animox.ai website (the "Service"), how we use it, and the choices you have.

What We Collect

• Account information: your email address, display name and avatar (from your email signup or third-party login such as Google or GitHub).
• Your creations: the text descriptions you submit and the videos the Service generates from them. These are processed to provide the Service and stored so your projects work across sessions.
• Payment records: purchase history and credit balance. Card payments are handled entirely by Stripe - we never receive or store your full card details.
• Usage and device data: basic technical information such as app version, operating system, IP address and feature usage, used for security, debugging and improving the Service.

How We Use Your Data

• To provide the Service: generating your videos, syncing your projects, crediting your account.
• To process payments and prevent fraud.
• To provide support when you contact us.
• To understand aggregate usage and improve the product.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use your prompts or videos to advertise to you.

Who We Share Data With

We share data only with service providers needed to run the Service:

• Stripe for payment processing.
• Cloud hosting providers that run our website, database and file storage.
• AI model providers that process your text descriptions to generate video content. Prompts sent for generation are not used by us to build advertising profiles.
• Email delivery providers for transactional emails such as sign-in and receipts.

We may also disclose data if required by law.

Data Retention and Deletion

Your account data and creations are kept while your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from settings, or by emailing contact@animox.ai; we will delete your personal data except records we must keep for legal or accounting reasons.

Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data. Email us and we will handle your request.

Security

We use industry-standard measures - encryption in transit, access controls and scoped credentials - to protect your data. No system is perfectly secure; please use a strong, unique password.

Children

The Service is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced on this page with an updated date.
